Fubdetta is a duo existing of Detta Herm and Susa. The band releases their second album “Mein Talent Ist Leben” this year. It is their second full length album.
How serious we are supposed to take these two is not really sure. On the one side they have created some great moments in this album, but right across that you find some moments you really wonder what the hell they were thinking and if it is just a joke. With the name in mind, we consider that they are not taking it too seriously themselves and they like to include these jokes here and there.
The whole album is in German and seem to be built around a ridiculous sound that sometimes goes wave, sometimes more disco-ish and then it’s like they want some horror into it.
“Mein Talent Ist Leben” is not an album that stands out for its greatest skills. The band knows what they are doing, but does not seem to be bothered to expand on what they can do and rather have some fun with it. That makes that the album is great to listen for a couple of times, but not on that will end up in a heavy rotation.
