Red Tape Parade was founded in 2007 by a bunch of people in their late twenties from the hardcore punk scene in southern Germany. The modest and simple goal was to play music and write lyrics that would reflect their experiences and musical tastes while growing older.
While their peers got involved in ironic post-hardcore or minimal house Red Tape Parade went back to the early purchases of their record collection in search for inspiration. Over the course of the next five years the group’s music evolved from fast, angry hardcore punk to a more melodic and poppier sound. Red Tape Parade had released two full length studio albums. The guys were working on their third when the singer was diagnosed with cancer. After he passed, the remaining band members decided to re-release their two full length albums in dedication to their singer. And this is one of the two.The full length studio album “Ballads Of The Flexible Bullets” is coming with sixteen songs. With thriving guitar riffs and a slightly smoky voice Red Tape Parade is pushing you through the album. Filled with energy and power this album is telling a story of life and death and all the obstacles you will come across in life. Rough and pure. “Ballads Of The Flexible Bullet” is a great hardcore punk album that will shake you wake and is telling the truth about life how it really is. A must have for all punk fans.
