Motörhead is an English rock band formed in June 1975 by bassist, singer and songwriter Ian Fraser Kilmister, professionally known by his stage name Lemmy, who has remained the sole constant member.
The band are often considered a precursor to, or one of the earliest members of, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which re-energized heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. “Aftershock” is the twenty-first album of this music legend. Coming with fourteen brand new songs this album is a part of music history already. With the typical dirty sound and thriving melodies accompanied by Lemmy’s smoky voice this album is definitely kicking ass. The music pushes you hard and heavy. You can feel the adrenaline level rise when listening to “Aftershock”. Empowering you to go faster and keep going until the very end this album is a must have for all fans of rock music. “Aftershock” shakes you at the core and gets you moving along to the music whether you want it or not. “Lost Woman Blues” is one of the slower songs on this album, and like the name says it is a blues. Beautifully arranged and full of heart. Classic meets modern, this new Motörhead album lets worlds collide. Feel the “Aftershock” and get the new Motörhead album now.
