Skunk Anansie is a British band whose members include Skin (lead vocals), Cass (guitar, bass, backing vocals), Ace (guitar, backing vocals) and Mark Richardson (drums and percussion).

Skunk Anansie formed in March 1994, disbanded in 2001 and reformed in 2009. During all their active times they have released five albums and played many shows all over the world. Skunk Anansie had played their first acoustic show ever, filmed it and has now released it on DVD and CD. The CD includes eighteen songs. All of them are hits. Some are rarely played at concerts which makes this concert even more special. Most songs during this live event include an orchestra. Especially on “Secretly” you can hear the beautiful violin playing in the background. Between the songs you can hear massive cheering coming from the crowd. Every once in a while the singer of Skunk Anansie talking to the audience or thanking them. When listening to this live content you can feel the vibe that filled the venue in London. The singer Skin is playing with her voice and adds different emotions to each song. Really impressive. Almost eighty minutes full of amazing music and wonderful vibes. I truly hope Skunk Anansie will do more acoustic shows in the future. If not, we still have this album. So go check it out.
