Counterparts is a Canadian hardcore band that was formed in 2007. Since then the has released three full length studio albums including the latest called “The Difference Between Hell And Home”.
It had been two years between the last two albums. The latest album comes with eleven tracks. All songs are absolutely empowering and strong. You can feel the passion the guys have for this music. Some songs are simply kicking ass, others make you think, like “Decay”. But all songs are strong and filled with great music. With “The Difference Between Hell And Home” Counterparts definitely sticks with hardcore as their genre. With a total song duration of almost forty minutes this album goes by fast. But it surely leaves enough adrenaline in your system to find the replay button instantly. Since their previous album “The Current Will Carry Us” Counterparts has grown, their sound became stronger and harder. This album contains more shouting and growling than the previous. The guitar riffs are hammering, just like the drums. Thriving music for driven people. Music to listen to loud and proud.
The new Counterparts album “The Difference Between Hell And Home” is a must have for all hardcore fans out there. And don’t miss Counterparts live when they hit your town
