Industrial formation Front Line Assembly from Canada has been formed in 1986. With quite many years on the counter and an impressive list of release the band comes with a new release this year. “Echogenetic” is out now.
With “Echogenetic” the band wanted to create an album that is completely electronic. No guitars to be found here and it must be said that at first it sounds like something that is really different, but while listening to the album it all comes quite natural. The electronics were on forehand anyway and so come that if you don’t really know it may be that it does not stick out as something done on purpose. The guys work well with it. Some may even find some dubstep influences in the sound, but all comes quite mellow. It is danceable and has a soft tone, not really a smack in the face and that makes it gorgeous album you can listen to at any time. The album is filled with songs that are various from each other and yet have a great connection with each other. An album that you love at first sight and only grows stronger when you listen it more. Buy and keep in your heart!
