Come The Spring… exactly what everyone is waiting for in Europe today. The English band from Brighton proposes a classic indie rock. Their first record “Seven For A Secret” is not revolutionary.
“Patching The Cracks Doesn’t Make It Foolproof’, the best song of the record, has been heard a thousand times and could be another new song of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. It’s even so polished that it could be considered mainstream. Now, it is very much pleasant and brings a contagious happiness. This short album, only a six-track E.P., is effective. The music is energetic and fresh – like the waves on Brighton’s Pier. The guys are talented musicians, you can hear the passion in their melodic vibes. The guitars and drums are constantly present, keeping you on the edge of your seat with your head banging. It’s also very catchy with simple chorus. I just needed to listen to one song to have it stuck in my head for the rest of the day. It’s this little hope of spring that we needed, the sunbeam of music that can melt the snow and help our little flowers to bloom. This E.P. got definitely a date with my car’s cd player. It’s promising!
