The “Player” band counts over three decades of existence. Only two members made the cosmic sounds and now they have “Too many reasons”.
The most melodic album I’ve heard this year. Too much melodic. The veterans of the stage and blue screen are making a mess since 77. Now they returned as their hit “Baby come back” a bit innovated and a bit charismatic. The most energetic track is opener “Man on fire” but then charisma and energy gone. The key track “I will” is the most tragic and wonderful. The colorful palette of emotions and sounds you could listen in “Life in color” which provides by piano chords. The solid work of keyboards in “The sins of yesterday” makes reverberating sound. “Wash away all the sins of yesterday”. And do not many any tomorrow. The lowest track “Kite” reminds some fairytales notes. The titled track has no reasons to be heard. Perhaps, it’s too typical.
Too many tears, too many sorrows, too much love. I’m not sure if the album is worthy to be heard at least once. You have too many reasons to do not do it.
