Your Army is a band from Brighton, UK and was formed in 2009. The band has gained a strong following by playing killer headline shows throughout the UK as well as supporting some top bands; Feeder and We are Scientists to name a few. A reputation for incredible live shows, brimming with energy and musicianship to match has also earned them prominent slots on the Isle of Wight festival and Fahrmannsfest.

Now, they have finally released their debut album called “Ignite”. The female fronted four-piece rocks through twelve songs on their debut. Loud rock music is what Your Army has for you. With a strong female voice, catchy tunes and a lot of passion this album will definitely get you along. Strong lyrics and some odd melodies remind of Skunk Anansie. Some lyrics are quite naughty and kick ass. The debut of Your Army is definitely a wonderful album that can be listened to all the time. Your Army is not like other bands and far off mainstream and yet, “Ignite” is the perfect album for everyone who likes good music. This album also proves that we need more female rockers out there. Don’t miss out on a powerful show when Your Army hits your town, so keep an eye on their gig calendar.
