Releasedate: 11-09-2012; Label: HELLTHRASHER Productions
By: Sabine van Gameren
Hell United is a Death Metal formation from Poland. Started in 1997 they went under the name Eclypse and released a debut album in 2004. A name change followed and in 2008 a second release was born. In 2012 the band returns with a new full length album called: “Aura Damage”.
Hell United starts off strong, no intro needed, right in your face confrontation. Deep growls, plenty of passion that reigns throughout, it is not hard to feel the definition of these lyrics like this. What comes to notice is that the band have chosen a decent production for the album. Leave it raw where needed, but have the sound up to date anno 2012 as well. Suits them well as it let their sound come out strong. The drums are coming forward very nicely, which gives it some good solid ground. Then the guys have some good riffs going on so there is not much to complain when it comes to this album. It does not stand apart from it in the way that you find it a very unique band, but Hell United shows attitude and that speaks enough for them. If you are into the Polish metal this band is simply a great extension to your collection. No hesitation, just buy it right away.
