Infadels are a British formation. Their debut album “We Are Not The Infadels” released in January 2006. A second release got out two years later and in 2012 the new album: “The Future of the Gravity Boy” sees light.
Who thought he knew Infadels may be a bit surprised with this new album coming from their hands. It is quite electric, so different than what you heard of them before. Drop that little rawrockedge, the synth is clearly their main thing now. Sure it was there before but now more dominant than ever. One thing that comes with it is some extra catchiness. Tracks stick in mind easily, good for their chart potential, it’s on a rise. The compositions bring you a bit in the party mood, seeing you dance with it in a club, but with a little bit of space theme included the combination with the synth maybe becomes a bit cheesy and expectable. Some 70’s and 80’s were probably of major influence here. Yet, the album is one that listens easily and will probably convince people to see these guys when they enter the stage of one of the various summer festival they will probably play. A little bit different than you might have expected, but still Infadels.
