Alex Clare, formerly known as Alexander G. Muertos (and sometimes referred to as Alex Claire), is a British singer-songwriter from London, England. His debut album “The Lateness of the Hour” was released in the UK last year. The album as well as the artist’s name might seem unknown to you. But I am sure one song is not: “Too Late”.
Lately, “Too Late” has been on TV. Windows Explorer is using this song for their commercial. The beats and rhythms catch your attention. The single is back in the charts. One year after its first release. Even in the Top Ten. And, the album is now released in the US and Europe. The album comes with twelve tracks that are all very catchy. Wonderful vocals and lyrics along with electronic dance beats and rhythms. The two most outstanding songs are “Too Close” and “Humming Bird”. But each and every single song on “The Lateness of the Hour” is outstanding and special in its own way. Interesting compositions make this album unique. A singer-songwriter that does not only have his guitar but uses electronic sounds. “The Lateness of the Hour” is a must have for all fans of good music, wether it is rock or electro. This is an album you should definitely check out.
