Totimoshi is a band from USA and has been formed in 1999. Their music exist out of a blend of different styles; rock, metal, jazz. Currently the band has released their fifth studio album called: “Avenger”.
Totimoshi is not your average metal band. The songs they make are often a bit different constructed and this easily gets the excitement up. The band leaves no time for you to waste as they come in straight with what they do. Complexity in the songs, some experimenting maybe, it turned out to be some inventive sort of music. For some it may come a bit too dominant, having the bass quite upfront making you feel the music from within and setting the guitars back a bit, but here and there they break though to that front place within their sound. Also a plus on this release is the fact that they are having quite some variance in the tempo, which makes it even more playful. As a con of this release it must be said that it is probably not the most open music and some will need to listen it quite some times to get the essence of it, but overall “Avenger” is a fine release that is worth your money.
