Kenny Wayne Shepherd is a Blues rock musician from USA. He released recently his sixth studio album called “How I Go”.
Kenny is a musician since he got a guitar on young age. The young boy taught himself to play and got himself quite some success with it. Besides that this blues is the main thing of what Kenny does, there are also some other influences to hear in the music which makes it a bit more accessible. It is that hard rock part that is also in there that spices it all up a bit and makes it a bit more open. Yet, Kenny plays around with it, making each song a bit more individual. He works with quite some good names and this is not too miss out on the record either. Noah Hunt as one of the most prominent ones perhaps.
So far Kenny Wayne Shepherd is mostly a name in the USA. Not too much of European fame is on his name yet, but with the release of : “How I Go” some doors will open a bit wider as it seems. It is an album that listens smoothly and let you enjoy the guitar solos without getting the feeling that things get overdone. Modesty pays off in this release, less is more Shepherd proves it.
