Grinspoon are an Australian rock band from Lismore, New South Wales formed in 1995 and fronted by Phil Jamieson on vocals and guitar with Pat Davern on guitar, Joe Hansen on bass guitar and Kristian Hopes on drums. Also in 1995, they won the Triple J-sponsored Unearthed competition for Lismore, with their post-grunge song “Sickfest”. Their name was taken from Dr. Lester Grinspoon an Associate Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, who supports marijuana for medical use.
Their new album “Six To Midnight” is released now. Coming with thirteen tracks plus five additional tracks on the special edition. The music is fast and rocking. The vocals are very sleazy and sometimes shouted in between. With strong beats Grinspoon pushes you through. With nice percussions the music is thriving and catchy. Grinspoon created a great new hard rock album with “Six To Midnight”. The song “Comeback” is a very catchy song, probably the catchiest on the entire album. “Six To Midnight” is a wonderful hard rock album by Grinspoon. A must have for all hard rock fans, but not only. So enjoy the new music and keep your eyes open for more coming from Grinspoon. “Six To Midnight” is out now.
