Within The Ruins have announced that they will be debuting an EP titled “Omen” just months after the release of their full length Invade. “Omen” features two new and two cover songs – including Metallica’s “Fight Fire With Fire” and Kansas “Carry On My Wayward Son”.

Even though the new Within The Ruins release “Omen” includes only four tracks, it still kicks big time. Fast and thriving music along with growled and shouted vocals these four tracks are perfect to band your head along to the music. With a fast double kick on the drums and even faster riffs this album is blasting out with full speed ahead. Within The Ruins know how to create music that gets you. The two cover songs on this EP are brilliant just like the two tracks Within The Ruins wrote for this EP. They are all on the same level. Within The Ruins don’t need to hide behind Metallica but definitely proved with this EP that they can stand strong next to them instead. “Omen” was definitely worth to be released. Simply amazing. Within The Ruins is a band you should definitely check out if you have not heard of them until now. At best you start by getting their EP “Omen” and if you like it, get their album “Invade”.
