Nick 13 is the guitarist, vocalist, and main songwriter of psychobilly band Tiger Army as well as a solo artist in the Americana/Country genre.
Finally the solo album of Nick 13 is released. Self titled country album long awaited not only by Tiger Army fans. Proudly I am holding it in hands, almost shaking of curiosity while reaching out for the play button. And then there is music. Country music. Along with Nick’s soft voice. My heart skipped a beat. The music touches you right away. The lyrics are sad and yet full of hope, keeping you going along the long road of life. Nick 13 packed a whole lot of emotions into this brilliant debut solo album of his. “In The Orchard” and “Cupid’s Victim” might sound to all you Tiger Army fans out there because it was released on their albums before but here on Nick’s album you can hear a pure country version of it. The album has its own soul. Touching you deep. Simply amazing. I am speechless as I hit the replay button. Yes I am a Tiger Army fan and yes I had an idea of what was coming as Nick 13 announced the work on his solo album. But now that it is finally released, it topped every expectation you could possibly have had. What a genius Nick is, and what an amazing album he created. I am deeply impressed and can only recommend it to each and every single one out there. Nick 13’s self titled solo album is out now. Get it!
