Anaal Nathrakh are a British extreme metal band formed in 1999 who fuse black metal, grind core, death metal and industrial music. The band released their sixth full length studio album called “Passion” recently.
“Passion” is simply everything you may expect from an Anaal Nathrakh album. A quiet start, to come with an outburst of rage and, as the title says, passion. It isn’t hard to follow their feelings and live up to their sound as it comes quite automatically. It has the strong extreme vocals as you are used to and it has the guitars as you are used to, nothing new under the sun. What brings a little variation on the confidential sound of the British are the guest appearances as they seem to be that extra spice on your favorite dish. Obviously Anaal Nathrakh has stayed true to what seemed to be their winning factor for a long time and still is, fans can expect an album that lays perfectly in live with the various releases that came before and maybe is not a new invention of their own sound, but obviously for this band it is not needed as another top album came from their hands.
