My Morning Jacket is an American rock band formed in 1998. The band consists of Jim James (singer-songwriter, guitarist – also known as Yim Yames), “Two-Tone” Tommy (bassist), Patrick Hallahan (drummer), Carl Broemel (guitarist, pedal steel guitarist, saxophonist, vocalist), and Bo Koster (keyboardist, percussionist, vocalist). The band was featured on CNN’s 2009 New Year’s Eve show with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin, performing from Madison Square Garden. The band supported Neil Young on his Australian tour and played the Big Day Out festival along with several other interesting performances.
This is their sixth album called “Circuital”. The brand new album of My Morning Jacket comes with ten tracks. The album cover looks like an eye of a mechanical dinosaur or dragon. The album doesn’t really sound like that. Except, if you think of the eye as a gate to somebody’s heart, then maybe yes. Because the new album of My Morning Jacket “Circuital” definitely goes deep. The soft voice along with the slow and thoughtful music definitely finds a gateway to your heart. The music itself sounds a little retro like. “Circuital” is a brilliant album, a one of a kind. So make sure to check out the new album “Circuital” by My Morning Jacket.
