The band Sacred Legacy was formed in the early 2006 with Shahyd as the key person of the band, After the performance in his first band “Syn” in the early 2004 he started his own guitar solo career. After quitting the band Syn, he started experimenting with many genres of music and got inspired by Thrash, Melodic and Progressive Metal and neo Classic. The album “Undying Heart” is out now.
Obviously the many mentioned influences have its effect on the music. This could have been blending quite well, but unfortunately in this release it appears a bit messy. It’s like there are different pieces of music, hardly relating to each other have been placed in one song. For some reason a piano piece enters at a very unlogical point and when it is finished you suddenly are listening to something else. This goes on throughout the whole album and creates a lot of chaos. Then there is the point of the vocals. For some reason the vocals did not really fit in here either and it can generally be said that “Undying Heart” does not motivate to get listened a lot more after the first time. The several parts an sich are done ok, but the way they are used in the music and the lack of transitions towards them is breaking up the whole album. With some work on that, a future release may hopefully make more sense.
