Electric Breathing was founded 2006 by Defcon One. Anno 2011 the album “Sounds of Psychosis”comes out via Twisted Flesh Recordings
The music is settled between hellelectro and aggrotech, inspired by aggression and hatred.
“Fast beats, aggressive synths, banging bases, rattling snares and very aggressive screaming singing with texts about misanthropy, religion and perversities playing with irony and provocation.”
Quite strong description on what the band makes. Maybe the band does not bring the most original sounds, a little more surprising elements would have make it a bit more special, but the songs are all coming with a good flow. The atmosphere the band is in, comes with dark humor and filth as well as a little sexual heat in there. Feel the beat in your body, you start moving and it goes on from there until the last song is over. But don’t feel ready for that passionate electro dancing world completely as the lyrics may come too provocative for that. It tends towards the more extreme side, especially in the last part of the album. If you feel seduced to give it a try than be aware that there are plenty of recognizable sounds in the album and you don’t have to expect a completely unique sound, but when you are into this hypnotic danceable electro stuff with a tendency to aggrotech it will perfectly fit in your collection.
