Graviton is a project by Sasha Dunable, known from Intronaut. It gives a progressive/postrock/metal sound and “Massless” is the name of its release.
Basically Graviton exists out of material that Sasha could not fit into his other projects, bringing it into a spacey, a bit strange project. The music is ambient and mellow, easy to go with but on the same time it has a certain complexity and it is yearning for some concentrated attention. Seems like calling upon your inner conflicts to make you decide to either give this a concentrated listen or put this on while doing something else to enjoy, both will do but when you pick this last option you will miss out ona lot of detail and exactly this detail is what makes Graviton special. The transitions from something small to something huge, the guitars that are precisely and sharp when needed. “Massless” is an album that hold ten songs, quite different from each other and yet remained in line. People that come as a fan of Intronaut may have to swallow a bit at first but will adopt the album soon enough. It takes some extra listening because you do not want to miss out on the beauty that you find in the most unexpected places. Enjoy this album!
