:Wumpscut: is an electro-industrial music project from Germany. It was founded in May 1991 by Bavarian disc jockey Rudolf “Rudy” Ratzinger. Ever since then they have been busy and released several EPs, contributed songs to compilations, released MCs and of course albums – many albums. Until now they have released ten studio albums.

And now Wumpscut is back with their new and eleventh album called “Schrekk & Grauss”. An album that comes in different versions: The regular CD that includes ten tracks, a 2CD set with fifteen remixes on the second album plus twelve tracks by DJ Dwarf. Wumpscut play industrial music that sometimes also drops by at the EBM section. Another thing you can definitely say about this album: It is loud. And catchy. “Schrekk & Grauss” is made for dance floors and industrial parties. The music is strong and carries you along. The vocals come distorted in German and English. “Patient A.” has something of a horror movie, a story telling tale with creepy sounds. Definitely gives you goosebumps. The new Wumpscut album is a brilliant album with a great sound, amazing melodies, interesting lyrics and a definite must have for all industrial people out there. So go get it now.
