Fireforce is an Heavy Metal formation from Belgium. The band formed in 2009 and “March On” is the band’s debut album.
Sounds like a young band, but this formation has been born out of the ashes of the band Double Diamond which has been around since the 90’s. The band makes raw Heavy Metal. Vocals with a raw edge, Thrash influences in the riffing it comes with a strong body. Enjoy some interesting solo’s and the mood for the festivals comes up. That would be the perfect place to have a Fireforce experience, whether you have first heard the album or not. The band brings quite some variation in the album, some songs are more melodic. For example “1302 Battle For Freedom” serves you perfectly with some catchy material, but on the other side they can speed it all up as well to go a little more aggressive. The closing track of this release “Metal Rages On” is one that showcases this and it is the final one leaving you with a wish for more.
What a decent release of these Belgium guys. Listens easily, keeps your interest throughout listening and is just what you want to hear preparing for the summer.
