Blut Aus Nord is a French Black Metal band. Some might have been mistaken by the band’s name and thought they were German though. The Band currently re-released their 2001 album “The Mystical Beast of Rebellion”.

The band released their latest full length release in 2009 and with the name they have built right now, they thought it was a good idea to re-issue their 2001 album “The Mystical Beast of Rebellion” and to go with that they supplied an extra cd with new, exclusive bonus material. The band completed the album with these new songs that are all called “The Fall: Chapter 7”. Many of the fans consider this album to be their best and the re-issue of this release gives the newer and potential fans a chance to get to know them. Compared to the first part, the three new songs come a bit more bombastic. Those songs may have finished the album as said, but those who heard their 2009 release “Memoria Vetusta II: Dialogue with the Stars” first may be a bit disappointed in the whole. It’s more simplistic and does only have a little piece of that unique face that the band is showing on their latest album. Those three songs have a hard time making up for that, but when they are done you start wondering. Why does this album stands out still, even though it is less dimensional. Just that fact that it is still the beginning of that band and yet show you how the band has grown in the years. A must have for the fans, it is a wonderful collectors piece and it is also limited available on vinyl.
