Having played with various bands over the years, Steve Senes has amassed quite a large variety of styles ranging from Rock, Metal, Country to Funk, R&B and Soul. Every band Steve has played with has left a mark on his playing and writing style. This diversity is especially evident on Steve’s solo instrumental CD, ” De-Evolution of Theory “.
Awesome arrangements with the main focus on guitar and guitar-skills spread on twelve tracks is basically all this album is about. A brilliant collection demonstrating what a guitar is all capable of creating – if you only have the skills to do so, that is. Steve Senes definitely has the skills and shows them to us on “De-Evolution Theory” and takes us on a journey through music. Starting out with 80s music continuing on to today’s rock and even includes a song that reminds of The Prodigy. Awesome guitar riffs leave you speechless when listening. I would have never expected an instrumental album to be that thrilling and breathtaking. Steve Senes definitely hit it off with his album “De-Evolution of Theory”. Not only a must have for all guitar playing geeks amongst you, but also for every other music loving person out there. Enjoy!
