Calm Hatchery is a Polish Death Metal band. They formed in 2002 and are now ready for the release of their second album “Sacrilege of Humanity”.
The band delivers quite an album. And this said, it is only their second. Tempo changes are there, plenty of excitement to find. The band brings in some interesting riffs, “Shine For The Chosen One” is one that brings you quite some surprises, but throughout the whole album there are many moments to find. They managed to give their own face to the sound which makes this album a pleasure to listen to. The atmosphere in the album brings that little extra to it. It feels doom. As in atmosphere. The songs are well composed, tempo changes at the right timed moments and the track list let you hear a list of songs that doesn’t get boring. Variety enough. The Polish men have created an album that may have a little touch of Morbid Angel, it is unavoidable to hear that, but has a strong character and reigns more to Calm Hatchery than any other band. “Sacrilege of Humanity” is that album that you are waiting for after hearing many bands that copy their influences, a good album that sticks in mind and is refreshing. It is that we don’t make year lists at Tempelores, because I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one ending up in there for this genre.
