All little kids grew up, same counts for bands. The Belgian act Triggerfinger got themselves a reputation with playing concert venues and festivals in Belgium and Netherlands. The band have released two albums before their third one “All The Dancin’ around” sees light.
The band have set some feel good, easy listening atmosphere. They show off the years of experience quite a lot. You hear the guys have taken the time to think it out. Melodic elements make the sound of Triggerfinger very emotional and touchy. The drama of the vocals are an important factor to that. The band also works with tempo changes, within the song but see also the impact of the order of the songs. Switching off from heavier song s to some calmer songs on the right time does the album more justice than people could imagine. The question rises if the band can beat up to their live reputation with this album, often being around at the stages might not always say the recorded music gives you the same thrill. I would say it is better than live, perhaps because I have never enjoyed they performances myself, even though I ran into the quite some times, but clearly enjoyed listening to this album. That must say a lot for the people who do enjoy their shows. Way to go.
