A Day to Remember is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida. Founded in 2003 by guitarist, Tom Denny, and drummer, Bobby Scruggs, the band has released three studio albums, nine singles and eight music videos. They are mainly known for their unusual amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk as a musical style.
The new album by A Day To Remember called “What Separates Me From You” is a kick ass album from first to last. The songs are fast and definitely make you move along. Ass kicking lyrics and riffs, sometimes shouted, sometimes sung. “All I Want” is the most catchy song on the album and my personal favorite. But there are more songs on this album that will definitely get stuck in your head for quite a while The lyrics on the album are quite sad and I am sure almost all of you can relate to one or another. Ten songs are on “What Separates Me From You”, an average amount of album tracks but somehow you are still tempted to hit the replay button after the last song has finished. A Day To Remember’s music makes you rock along and get out all your anger and negative emotions. The best therapy one can have. So get “What Separates Me From You” and make sure to check them out on tour in early 2011.
