Trapt is an American rock band that formed in Los Gatos, California in August of 1997. The group is composed of lead singer Chris Taylor Brown, lead guitarist Robb Torres, bass guitarist Peter Charell, and drummer Aaron “Monty” Montgomery. They have released four studio albums to date: “Trapt” (2002), “Someone in Control” (2005), “Only Through the Pain” (2008) and now “No Apologies” (2010). The band is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Two years since the last album and seven years since I saw them live last – not that that makes any difference, I just wanted to mention in and basically have a “You guys totally have to come back to Europe ASAP” to be read in between the lines. “No Apologies” is the latest album of Trapt but their most popular and most known songs is probably still “Headstrong” off their debut album. With each album Trapt has defined their music style more and more and by now their style is recognizable amongst others, so to be heard on this album. Twelve new tracks rocking right at you with “No Apologies” – you might only have eleven track because the twelfth is a special bonus track. Their new album “No Apologies” is a great rock album with awesome songs. The catchy tunes definitely make you want to go along. As we know it from Trapt the songs are thoughtful and deep yet kick ass Rock’n’Roll. The title song “No Apologies” for example is an awesomely thoughtful song. Chris knows how to wrap up deep emotions into awesome rock that you can even mosh to! The album is doomed to get stuck in your head and last there for a very long time just like “Headstrong” did back in the day. My favorite on this album is “The Wind” and by now I have already listened to this album so many times, but I have to say I am still not tired of it. Not even a bit. As a matter of fact, the more I listen to it, the more I love it and want to listen to it again. Trapt is an awesome band and released yet another amazing album. Get it! You won’t regret it!
