Baby Universal is a German indie rock band founded in 2007. The idea for Baby Universal came on a long journey of the singer as he was travelling from New York to San Francisco. Inspired by long Highways and poetry by Guthrie, Kerouac and Blake the band created a unique and unforgettable sound. They played support shows for Björn Dixgard (Mando Diao), Phillip Boa and others. With their live performances they also won many people’s hearts. Now their self titled debut album “Baby Universal” is released. The album is recorded on old equipment to capture the nostalgic sound of the 70s. Very passionate for details and without editing this album is on CD just as it was recorded: Pure!
The music is softly floating along. Easy going tunes far off from mainstream with an awesome voice make this indie music of Baby Universal unforgettable and memorable. The songs are clear and the music is pure. The lyrics are great. Baby Universal are lifting everything of your shoulder and take your mind on a journey through their universal which they created on this beautiful album. unfortunately it lasts only for about 37 minutes. But fortunately we have a replay button. So buckle up and hit it again.
