Trita is a Post Rock formation from the US. In 2016 they had an EP out and now a new one is ready. It is called “The Goods Night” and it is available now.
It is a short introduction, you get to spend about 20 minutes with these guys, but the meeting seems quite fruitful. In four songs they have trouble in making their sound clear, what is their identity sounding like. What we can tell you is that it sounds passionate. The band seem to have a clear view of where they want to go with their sound and that makes the ride joyful. From a solid start the band keeps the pace into it, never letting you down too far before rollercoastering you back to a highlight. So the whole has a high accessibility factor. The raw-edged vocals give it the vehemence that makes it exciting. The album has much more power with these bringing them words.
A little remark to make, whether these guys are able to keep you listening even after more songs, lik on a full length album may be questionable. Will they bring in more variation?
Something to find out in future, but “The Goods Night” is at least something we can enjoy. Steady Rock, with enough power.
