Dreamarcher comes from the west coast of Norway and skillfully balances the abrasive with beauty and sensitivity. Their music reflects having grown up in a small town littered with decaying factories between the majesty of glacier covered mountains rising out of the Hardanger fjord. From dark and melodic group vocals to hardcore screams, head splitting guitar riffs to ambient melancholic, blasting to spaced out instrumentals Dreamarcher blends the boundaries of genre. This is their brand new self titled album.
This release comes with five tracks. Short but intense. The self-titled debut comes with intense music and strong instrumentals. The vocals are mainly shouted. Each song comes crawling at you. Carrying a somewhat dark and evil spirit, the songs are wrapped in shadows and darkness. The album sounds almost self produced. Without order, chaos reigns on “Dreamarcher”. “Impending Doom” is slower and more melancholic throughout the first half of the song, then the harshness sets in and the doom comes back. This track is an instrumental. One that will take your mind away to a dark and foggy world, created by Dreamarcher.
This release by Dreamarcher is a must have for all metal fans and fans of darker and heavy music. Go get this self titled debut by the Norwegians Dreamarcher now.
