[schema type=”review” name=”CTP – Now and Then” description=”Label: Fastball Music” author=”Sabine van Gameren” pubdate=”2016-10-07″ ]C.T.P. (Christian Tolle Project) is born after Christian had done many bands and felt like starting something new. Now on lead of his own project he came with a debut album in 2000. Anno 2016 C.T.P. comes up with a new full length album called “Now and Then”.
Album number four for Christiaan Tolle and the Hard Rock fans can have a good time with it once again. This one is filled with catchy Melodic songs that are given a lot of strength by the playfull riffs of Christian. Just as before he brought in a lot of friends to help him out with vocals for example. Some of the old songs have been re-recorded with a new vocalist. Some familiar names that have taken part of C.T.P. before but what is better than last time is that it all sound more as one thing, it is not a collection of songs anymore but the songs, regardless of who’s featured, are a bit more connected. A welcome improvement that makes that this album listens just a little easier and more pleasant than the previous one.
It is clear that some deep thought have been giving in the process of putting this album together. A good release that brings a good view from what C.T.P can do.
