Matze Rossi is known for being the singer of the German punk band Bad Drugs. But he is also wandering on solo paths. So here is his fifth solo album, going by the name of “Ich Fange Feuer”.

Matze Rossi solo has not much in common with punk. Instead it is beautiful music that is filled with heart, passion and stories to tell and to listen to. And so is this album. “Ich Fange Feuer” comes with twelve songs. All lyrics are in German. And each song is dedicated either to a memory, a friend or his family. This album is a very personal piece but you will still be able to relate to each song while listening. Some compositions are soft and easy to sway along, whilst others are catchier and rougher. Giving you a hint of Matze Rossi as a punk performer with a slightly edgier voice than he uses on the other songs.
