Irfan – The Eternal Return

Irfan is from Bulgaria. They are a band that creates World Music. The band has released three albums of which “The Eternal Return” is the latest.

A world music album it is and they have decided to make a nice mix out of the diverse influences that they had. Instead of taking one of them the album thrives on a wider approach. At one point they have a mysterious atmosphere where they could go a bit more wild up next. The contrast in the release is enormous. From the Middle Eastern sound to more Indian, different places different sound, but all come together in the end. Here and there it may take you a bit before you get to see it, but taking your time for an album like this is to recommend anyway.
You can listen to it at various ways, sit down enjoy in concentration. Earphones on and let them take you by the hand and guide you through their world, or give it a spin while in company of friends and enjoy it like that.

Altogether the release is a pleasant one to listen to. The variation in it keeps it exciting and there is plenty to discover so it will keep you listening. A nice one!
