The Austrian rock band Midriff is back with a new release. This time a live EP. “Road Worn” is the name of this wonderful CD. Coming with six songs only, the EP does not last much longer than twenty-seven minutes. But you can hear the fans enjoying the show on the recording.

Midriff is a band with a singing drummer. But this does not affect the vocals other than in a positive way. Strong and digging deep underneath your skin, the lyrics will pierce right through your heart. The music is very passionate and the brilliant. The sound and melodies of the band make you think that this band could fill huge venues and compete with a Creed or Hinder. Brilliant guitar riffs combined with brilliant rhythms. This did not only make the audience in the venue cheer, but you will be impressed too. You can hear the band thank them for this between the songs, as well as telling a brief description of the next song – all this in German. Well, as I said, it is a live recording after all.

“Road Worn” might be a short EP with only six tracks. But an impressive set of songs that give you an idea of what they sound like and who Midriff is. So get on your playlist and add Midriff to it. You will not regret it.
