Wolf Down is an Hardcore Punk formation from Germany. The band founded in 2011 and they released some material a year later. This year it is “Incite & Conspire” that sees light and is out now.
The band is giving us a steady dose of Hardcore Punk. The question is in what way they show us their own face. Wolf Down is not a band that gives you something you have not heard before for that matter. They did get inspiration from various names out there, but what the band brings in from their own is mainly the way they built the tension. Here and there they have quite a tease going on, the energy is rising but they let you wait a bit longer. It seems like the band would be great in bringing it live with great activity in the crowd as a result.
If you go through the whole track list the band could perhaps consider to bring a bit more variation in the energy in these songs. The track list has songs that reign on at the same vibe and with a bit more exciting playfield it would stick around just a bit longer. But overall the album is not bad.
