Casablanca lets you think of sun, drinks and holidays, right? Not this time. The Casablanca, we want to bring closer to you today, is a Swedish rock band that has been founded in 2010. Now they have released their third album. The new studio album “Miskatonic Graffiti” from Casablanca, is a concept album, which is broken into three sections.
Casablanca presents you an album with a variety of melodies and moods. Starting out with fast and thriving music, the albums ends with slow and thoughtful ballads. Timeless music from first to last, reminding of rock legends like Bon Jovi or Aerosmith. “Miskatonic Graffiti” is filled with great lyrics that are telling a story. Each song on the album sums up to a whole tale that Casablanca is telling you. Listen closely, and the music will draw pictures in your mind that come to live until the music has ceased. Leaving you with only the memory of a dark story.
The closing song on the album is ending the story. “Exit The Mountains” raises the adrenaline level again, after the previous two songs carried a calm spirit. Off to one last battle that awaits a sequel. “Miskatonic Graffiti” is timeless and brilliant. A must have for all rock fans, especially those that live for the 80s rock era.
