Neurotic November is a band from South Florida. They named the genre of their music hold metal. Probably because they mix rap and hip hop elements along with metal. Their latest album is called “Fighting Words”.
The opener is a hip hop intro with rapped vocals and catchy beats. The second song reveals the true style of Neurotic November. Growled vocals and distorted guitars. But always mixed with a little rap and hip hop. An absolutely interesting combination that gets you hooked on “Fighting Words”. The eleven tracks on the album last for about thirty minutes and are definitely leaving you behind impressed and slightly dazzled. The rhythms of each song are perfect for banging your head along or just jumping. Not too fast and definitely not slow. The music Neurotic November created for “Fighting Words” is loud and intense and it goes by fast.
Neurotic November created an album that lets genres meet and worlds collide. This makes “Fighting Words” so interesting, that you will definitely remember the name and most likely will listen through this album a couple times at least.
