Scale The Summit is formed in 2004. The band makes Instrumental Rock and in 2007 they came with a debut album. Anno 2015 the band is releasing the album “V”.
The album has a very progressive feel over it and it is not strange to feel yourself listening carefully. For the guys leave no time to waste to make it interesting. The music is not overly filled with sounds but kept modest what makes it a very listenable album, for a wide range of audience. Here and there a guitar solo, never too long but always effective. Then the present bass is remarkable, the band have given it a prominent place in their sound. They clearly took enough time to bring out a good balance in their sound.
With albums like these there is always the danger one is losing its interest after a while, but the band is keeping you with them at all times. They have a sound that constantly builds onto what you just heard, bringing it further until you found that highlight after which you are send back to a new song where they start all over. “V” is an album that listens easy and is surprisingly nice to play some more.
