Mono Inc. is a German gothic rock band. The band’s influences are HIM, The Sisters Of Mercy, Depeche Mode, Unheilig, The Cure, The Smiths, Placebo, New Order and even Metallica.
They have now released their ninth album and is called “Terlingua”. The album is coming with fourteen tracks and is also available as a special edition, coming with several bonus tracks. English and German lyrics taking turns, the music is carrying a quite melancholic spirit talking about pain and fading hope, lost love and being lonely. Some songs are quite catchy such as “Still” or “Never Ending Love Song”, whilst others are slow and thoughtful such as “Study Butte” or “Mondschein”. Mono Inc is wandering through various paces during their brand new album “Terlingua”. All songs are catchy and thriving, meant to get stuck in your head. The dark voice of the singer is guiding you through this album. The music is a combination of rock and some electronic elements, a combination that never bores. Mono Inc is playing with styles. So it happened that the title track “Terlingua” even includes some country and western elements in the music. “Terlingua” is a must have for all fans o gothic rock. So go get it now.
