Irish singer Sinead O’Connor is not a stranger to many. With her hit “Nothing Compared 2U” she won the hearts of many internationally but many more has come out since. This year she comes with the release “Im Not Bossy, Im The Boss” which follows up 2011 release “How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?”
Sinead O’Connor is an artist that never seem too have any problems in expressing whatever she pleases, but listening to this album it is clear that she opens up a lot about herself. Music from what is close to here. She sings about her marriage, making love, her feelings about the music scene. The sincerity that speaks from this release feels nice. It does not have to be hidden, rather get it obvious and straight.
And although the words are quite the main attraction, the whole is supported by a rather catchy and relaxing instrumental backing. The wrapping that makes it all complete. May you be one of the persons that is still stick with “Nothing Compares 2u” you are missing out of a whole world of warmhearted songs from this lady. This release is honest and straight and will give you a great time listening it, feeling introduced into her personal life as it would be one of your best friends.
