Glossy Jesus is a Dutch act making Indie Rock music. Although the album was a little delayed due to circumstances the band is now ready to present you their album “The Hunt”.

Eleven songs with a comfortable sound is always a pleasure to listen so this release by Glossy Jesus is exactly what we are looking for when the spring is arriving slowly. The vocals of vocalist Maarten are giving the songs a deeper touch and he brings a lot of strength to the music. Here and there you might think it could be a bit more stable, but the breakable touch to it gives it some excitement as well. But then there are also diverse moments where he simply gives the spotlights to the band, let the guitars shine rather than then vocals. Not a bad choice because there are interesting riffs flowing around so the guitarists under their fans will simply adore this album as well. Take a song like “Dark Divinity” for example. Plenty of instrumental pleasure to be found.

Each song is a little different in this release. Sometimes hard to find the unity in it even, but overall you are listening to a diverse group of musicians that simply want to show themselves.
