The German indie band Adulescens are Newcomers. With the release of their self-titled EP the five-piece wants to prove the world that they are born musicians.

The music on this EP floats somewhere between synth-wave and post-punk. Soft drum line combined with soft vocals, catchy melodies and a lot of heart this EP gets you right from the start. The rhythms just drag you along, there is no escape but to move along to the music. Adulescens created a round sound, without edges and hard beats, but instead with smooth entires and exits. The softness is what gets your mind drifting off and keeps it floating around in space. Six tracks are on this beautiful self-titled release. One last thing that might turn your around your perception of their music: The drummer is the singer. An amazing fact that is a rarity for sure and makes this Bavarian Newcomer band special. And yet, even without this cool fact their music alone is very convincing as well. The EP goes by way too fast, but you can always hit play again.
