Satyricon is a Norwegian black metal band, formed in 1991 in Oslo. Satyr and Frost have been the band’s core members since 1993. The band’s first three albums typify the Norwegian black metal style.
Since its fourth album in 1999, the band has strayed from this style and included elements of hard rock in their sound. Satyricon was the first Norwegian black metal band to join a multi-national record label. The Norwegian black metal band Satyricon has now released a brand new album. This self titled release is their eight full length studio album. Coming with thirteen tracks the album includes English as well as some Norwegian songs. Thirteen songs full of heavy music with a touch of hard rock. Harsh guitar riffs, growled vocals – sometimes also sung, fast drums with a double kick and dark melodies. Thriving melodies drag you along to the darkened world of Satyricon. Some songs are slower, others are perfect to bang your head along to the music.
This new Satyricon album will warm every metal fan’s heart. With a total album duration of fifty one minutes you will get what you went for. So go get this thriving new self titled album by Satyricon now.
