Night Versus is a formation that is formed by Douglas Robinson. Known from the band The Sleeping, who called its quits. This year Night Versus releases a debut album called “Lift Your Existance”.
Night Versus makes Post-Hardcore and does not let you get off the hook fast. A captivating 74 minutes are awaiting you with this release. And within these minutes you’ll get to meet a strong guitarist which adds a variety of vicious riffs. You will meet a drummer which makes sure he is to be noticed and let’s not forget about the bassist! But above all you will meet Douglas and his variety of voices. From calmth to the wilde screaming rage and back as if it does not cost him any effort at all. Within a couple of tracks you got to know, you know what to expect from them and what they will bring to you, but then it shows the quality of the band in keeping you interested throughout the whole album. With their attention to little details you are captivated for the whole album.
So it is safe to say that Night Versus dropped a release that is certainly drawing attention. It is refined when needed and therefore sticks out. They certainly lifted their existence.
