Blackmore’s Night is a British and American traditional folk rock duo formed in 1997. Their new album is called “Dancer And The Moon” and comes with thirteen tracks. The music is very passionate and traditional.
The female voice of the singer leads you into a fairy tale world and tells its tales. Beautiful music and catchy melodies keep up the fantasy and feed your imagination. Some of the songs on this album are cover such as “Lady In Black” or “I Think It’s Going To Rain Today”. Other songs on “Dancer And The Moon” are traditional Folk songs such as “The Ashgrove”. On other songs some lines just sound familiar. But all songs are arranged in a way to match the other songs and create a perfect unison. The album artwork shows a female dancer and Mr. Moon watching, as well as other people and animals in the background. The booklet contains pictures of the band, lyrics of Blackmore’s Night’s own songs as well as a short story about each song that is on the album. “Dancer And The Moon” is a great album for all fans of medieval music, country music and folk music. So go get this beautiful tale telling album now.
