A sampler made by label Alrealon Musique. The French label presents us 16 tracks dedicated to experimental music.

This sampler starts off with Blue Sausage Infant (“Afflicted By The Wind Disease”). A calm track that at first sound does not seem to be very odd, something you could easily hear somewhere as intro, but then because of its length start to make an impression. Then it is Pas Musique who draws attention next with the hypnotic track called “Commercial Space” full of easy going sounds that cave into you. Big Brother on Acid seem to have a sort of Dubstep diss made while Pheilippe Petit & Friends come with a relatively short track called “Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained” which seem to be quite easy going but end maybe a bit abruptly.
One of the most surprising tracks on this release comes from Rasplyn with its “14 Black Clouds”. A gorgeous piece, that could have taken from a movie but is simply a stunning track to listen to on its own as well. “Baba Yaga” by Philippe Petit named after a person from Slavic folklore is a bit more simplistic, letting the tensions grow on you in a dark mysterious world. [Ówt Krì]’s “Confrontations” is the last track giving the sampler a peaceful ending.

Sixteen artists, all quite different and very experimental. An interesting collection which gives a good idea about the artists that Alrealon Musique has on its roster.
