Spin My Fate is a German formation making some Alternative Rock. The band release “Act II: When Worlds Collide” last year and now the band is back with a new release called “The Acoustic Sessions”.
The band brings out an album with songs all known to their fans, but now in an acoustic setting. The effect it has on the songs that they are instantly romanticized. It starts with the song “Fools of Innocence which seems ultimately made for an acoustic version, a good entry to the atmosphere you would find throughout this release. The band has taken a whole lot of different instruments to the studio to make it all come out very exciting and that worked quite well.
Some songs have that little raw edge to it, listen to “Rust” and you will find a little more fire in it when vocalist Jan Kattner opens up his fullest passion into it. The album closes with the playful, catchy song “Away” which let the album stick in mind for that as well.
Good choice of setlist, Spin My Fate have created a release that shows that their songs are working perfectly well in acoustic version when the right arrangements keep it all very exciting. One that you will love to listen to on those sultry summer evenings.
